About Me

Coming highly commended in the BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year at the age of 14 my interest in photography started early, as did my passion for nature and the countryside.

I then went on to be highly commended in the millennial Y2K exhibition, where I was exhibited for over a year in Birmingham's International Centre. Although I worked in fashion (Bridal Vogue) and wedding photography industry for many years, my love of landscape remained with me. I later made the decision to focus on Landscapes and have been selling my fine art photography through various galleries for over a decade.

Six years ago I launched the 'Brighton Calendar' and with its continued success, delighting customers with beautiful scenes of Brighton. This year I am excited to announce we will be launching our highly awaited official 'Sussex Landscape Calendar 2022' capturing the secret beauty of Sussex landscapes.

The author of two books, 'A Tale of Two Piers' (Brighton) followed closely by 'Two Piers a Palace & a National Park' which looks further afield at Brighton's surrounding countryside and the beautiful South Downs National Park. Providing a fantastic guide to both Brighton and Sussex.

Throughout this period I have also continued my commercial work for both small and large companies and individual projects.

Although it's been busy, I'm pleased to announce that this year through the launch of David Freeman Productions, I decided to take on personal coaching and teaching. Offering a tailored 'photography experience', to help others develop the skills of good photography, helping others preserve, the fine art of photography.
